Also, the Lysistrata is hilarious and a good quip about Lampito's rosy cheeks or "ὡς δὴ καλὸν τὸ χρῆμα τιτθίων ἔχεις" would at least be, you know, funny and add joy to my life.

Sounds about right. You could tell from that original bit video. It's 1) Alexander's Macedonians, 2) Caesar's Legions, fairly specific campaigning armies covering 10-15 years each. Then 3) Sparta. Just Sparta. Which Sparta?
