Any make in particular?
I have a strong preference for the Uniball roller pens (0.5mm); I always have a boxes of black, blue and red on my desk. I find they write more easily than most kinds of ballpoints.

Different colors for different uses. I use black ink for normal writing, annotate my lecture notes (which I type and print first) and writing in blue, markup my writing and grade in red.

Amusingly, my scripts for conference presentations and talks will have a bit of everything - the typed text, Q&A notes (to be ready for questions) in the margins in black, stresses and pauses in blue, last minute corrections and changes in red.
