Student evaluations are crap and we know this and I still read the comments they leave like my life depends on it and dwell on each and every one of them.

I was actually legitimately surprised by how understanding my students were about the difficulties and compromises of COVID teaching in their evaluations this semester. Always nice to see the hard work appreciated.
