Fun with metrics: I seem to average something like 35-40 bot-spam-comments on my blog a day. I clean out the folder every week or so and for maybe 200 or so spam comments that get caught, there's typically 1 false-positive legitimate comment that's been flagged.
Upside, I don't think I've seen a single bot-spam-comment get passed through the spam filter. Anyway, if you post a comment and it doesn't appear immediately, please be patient, I do my own moderation and the blog gets ~c. 15-30 legit comments per day (up to c. 50-90 on fridays)
