The C&C remaster reminding me of things you could do in the wild-west days of game design that you could probably not get away with now: a mission where the briefing is garbled, so the actual objective is concealed.

Yeah. The stupid AI, the lackluster balancing, the awkward mission design...My nostalgia just didn't carry me through. I chuckled through the mission briefing, but...simply not enough.

To be fair, I really hope what they remaster is Tiberium Sun, which has always been my favorite entry in the series, with a unique aesthetic and the game that I thought best committed to the Nod/GDI asymmetry.
