Have you heard about the new Beowulf translation by Maria Dahvana Headley (

I'm quite out of date on Beowulf - I haven't taught it in years and years (8 years, I think) and it isn't in my core research specialty. I knew there have been a few new translations, but it's hard to find the time. Ye Olde Heaney is what I have on my shelf.
