I'd add that a lot of ESO's best content - at least for how I play most games - requires a balanced team of at least four players who can commit to about hour long sessions at the same time. Skyrim, being purely single player, does not have this problem.
There is a matchmaker, but I found that when my dungeon group mostly moved on, my interest in ESO waned pretty quickly.
