@sentantiq has something on this? Or@FulkersonLaurel who, if I recall, has done research specifically on remorse and regret in classical literature? -
I would be grateful to anyone who could point me to something like that. I'm sure anything I can read, reaching so far back, would be cathartic. I made an ofrenda for my baby, and it was a comfort to think of the many fathers mourning their babies reaching back centuries.
