Ok, I need hive-mind input: 'oriental' as a descriptor of dress on a vase painting (of an Amazon)? Gives me an icky feeling, but unsure.

I might see the sense in using the word if it meant "A Greek's screwed up idea of what a Persian wears" - like, accurate Persian court dress is just 'Achameneid <garment>' But if someone is looking at clothing that probably never existed outside of an artists mind? Maybe?
Obviously there would need to be some clarification in the text somewhere that this is how the term was being used.
