Frank Herbert's Dune (2000) > Dune (1984) Pillars of Eternity > Divinity: Original Sin (yes both of them) Each Hearts of Iron game represents a tangible advance over its predecessor. I started with HoI4, but I picked up HoI3 cheaply on Steam. At the time, I thought it was better than HoI4 at representing everything. Except for the actual fighting, which is the bit that really needs to be good for a WW2 game
