No. We know that *Plutarch,* writing some *500 years* after Leonidas purportedly wrote (not said, but wrote) this, *claims* that Leonidas wrote it. Sure, he might have. But he also might not have. And movements are literally built around the presumption that he did.

Sure, but none of them have had even close to the toxic endurance and malign influence of μολὼν λαβέ. MAYBE that quote from the Albigensian Heresy (I think that’s where it’s from) comes marginally close, but not really.
