Most of the journal these days is in English. You can actually see what is upcoming here: https://www.uni-erfurt.de/philosophische-fakultaet/seminare-professuren/historisches-seminar/antike-kultur/kai-brodersen/dienstleistung/historia … That said, I should note that, in terms of supporting scholarship, exactly none of the money that goes to the journal ends up in the hands of the scholars.
Unlike book publishing, where we might get royalties, academics do not get paid for journal articles. The assumption is that we're all professors part of whose job is maintaining an active research agenda. As an adjunct who is not paid for that, it is not a great system.

O_O I knew the pay rate couldn't be GOOD, but I didn't realize you weren't paid AT ALL. Is there any way to access your research that does pay you?
