Sure, but I'm doubtful that would have made anything better other than providing a fist-bump moment for liberals, which Wallace can't afford if he wants to keep the veneer of impartiality. Sad times.
I don't want a fist bump moment. I want a moment where an intellect of the president's caliber is, for once, treated with all of the respect and dignity it deserves instead of everyone pretending this is behavior they'd accept from their friend's 11-year-old.

Sorry if I sound jaded. I can't wait for this whole horror show to be over and I can't get aggravated by supposedly rational people ignoring what's in front of them anymore. :(
