I have taught at three state schools. The worst of my students could have offered an improvement on that dismal debate. There are very smart people at the Ivies, at state schools, at small liberal arts school - and people who never went to college at all.
But was it really a "dismal debate" or one adult against a racist, interrupting man-baby? I know what you mean here, but I'm afraid the dominant narrative will be "what a trainwreck!"
You are correct. It only takes one person to start a food fight and it was an hour and 30 minutes of watching Trump chuck every bit of food on his plate at his opponent, at the moderator, and at the views, while Biden attempted to have an actual debate on policy and issues.
