Necessary clarification note: the figure of 60 deaths is for "1,600 American colleges and universities — including every four-year public institution, every private college that competes in N.C.A.A. sports and others that identified cases" not just Notre Dame.

Right?! If the 60 dead Americans were in Kandahar instead of Indiana, it'd be front-page news and rightly so!
