One thing I'm feeling today is how difficult a semester this is going to be without breaks. My institution cancelled classes for two days to facilitate student-move-outs and the opportunity to get things done is making me dread the rest of the semester run entirely without pause.
And before someone pops in here complaining that professors only teach X hours in a week or only work Y months in a year...a lot of teaching work does not happen in a classroom and we work year-round, thank you. Just because you don't know my job doesn't mean I don't have one.
I had no idea how much work outside the classroom was required until I became an adjunct. It’s several multiples of in-classroom time, and that’s without all the additional work full timers do. Far from an easy job!
You’re telling me complex, thoughtful pedagogy doesn’t just manifest magicallly? 
I mean, spells, incantations and esoteric tomes are involved, but you have to spend a lot of time meditating to refresh the necessary spell slots.
