I don’t mean to be all political, but I don’t think 179,000 people dying in 5 months is acceptable.
It's very strange that we have reached the point, apparently, where "I would like to have fewer people dying of preventable disease" is a political statement.

I’ve given up asking people indoors to please wear a mask. Even in hyper-liberal NYC, you’ve got a 60-70% chance of the encounter escalating to an assault scenario. Doesn’t matter if you’re being polite. The people not wearing them aren’t wearing them for a reason.
