Do you think this dubious article stems from a failure to "read critically": i.e. the historical sources writing about the perks of Antiquity-era slavery profited from slavery themselves?
Oh no. I hope this is an issue of poor wording, but fear it is not. Look, ancient slavery was a complicated (but bad!) institution.
