I realize this is the smallest possible complaint in this sea of awful, but what really gets me about 'patriotic' flag fetishism like this is that it always, always violates the damn flag code! There are guidelines for how to treat our flag! This ain't it!
In this case specifically the flag is 1) not to be used for advertising and 2) should not be used as a drape or apparel and 3) should always be permitted to fall or flap freely and 4) must always be the highest flag in any display.
