Seems to me like the sort of argument that isn't going to fit into a tweet; evidence and clarity about exactly which sets of 'no one on the left' (activists? policy experts? historians? generic left-leaning voters?) isn't engaging, and exactly what ideas they aren't engaging in.
I also have questions: which journals? And what key theories and information there aren't filtering through the (actually kind of robust?) public facing nat.-sec. publications (e.g. War on the Rocks, TNSR, FA, FP, etc.)?
Looking at his replies, it kind of looks like his argument is that general left-activists aren't engaging with the military thinking that underpins the US global position...which, ok? In my experience, many activists don't engage deeply with the thing they are active about...
...which is why we have all of these official policy organs staffed by experts or at least 'experts.' Getting that arcane knowledge doesn't require deep-diving JMH; listen to some WotR/TNSR podcasts and you'll start to get a sense of 'why we are over there' wherever there may be
