I know there's still lot of debate if cancelling exists at all, but I saw a definition that I thought might be helpful - that being 'cancelled' meant real world (read: job) consequences for statements within the overton window. A sitting Senator, by that def., is un-cancellable
Since a senator can only really lose their job by losing an election through the normal democratic process (and voting for the other candidate because you don't like what the incumbent says isn't 'cancel culture' - that's democracy).
