Certainly not the only obviously-an-elite-pretending-not-to-be, but one of the more obnoxious ones. But I'm often surprised by how many people have no sense of how far above the median income or educational attainment they are...

I get that expenses seem to fill a 'container' of any size so nobody ever feels like they have enough, but some people you just want to shake and say "if you're not well-off then the rest of us live in a post-apocalyptic hellscape"
