@BretDevereaux hi, can you recommend me a book (entry level) about history of war tactics?
Like, all tactics? I don't know that anyone has written a Big Book of Tactics like that - tactics tends to be far too particularized to weapons and org. systems for that. You're more likely to see books that discuss a given military system, with a sub-section on its tactics.

E.g. Keppie, Making of the Roman Army (1984) Verbruggen, The Art of War in Western Europe During the Middle Ages (1997) Rogers, Soldier's Lives Through History: The Middle Ages (2007)
-
The closest thing I can think of to an effort at a synthetic, diachronic view is probably Keegan, The Face of Battle (1976)...but I'd caution that specialists in the three eras it discusses now often take issue with some of its conclusions.

I've read in your blog that phalanx can't do complex things and roman cohorts can. I am intereset in where new improvements appear

Ah! For a big overview of basic features, Lee, Waging War (2016) will give you a solid starting place. For Greek/Roman bit, Connolly, Greece and Rome At War (1981) Lendon, Soldiers and Ghosts (2005) Cole, Legion Versus Phalanx (2018) all touch on this. Note also Plb. 18.32ff
