The academic works written on the 2020 police riots are going to be difficult to believe for future generations, because the violence and the anarchy from these cops is shocking even now living through it.
Let's hope the response is "wow that's shocking, I can't believe that happened" and not "this marks the beginning of a new normal we all learn to live with." I'd much rather be shocked than numb. Shocked can lead to positive change.
