Local Level Stuff: 1) Stop ignoring early warning systems for bad cops 2) Adopt successful best practices 3) Train, not read-and-sign new policies 4) Enforce the new policies 5) Release More Data, stop hiding it. 6) Org. Culture flows from the top; be better leaders. 3/4
This isn't going to 'solve racism' or the evil in men's hearts, but it is a start towards fixing our broken police system. It's working to craft institutions and org. culture that reflect the society and its objectives, something my readers should already be familiar with. 4/4
