I'm thinking on the individual soldier level - taking greater risks and showing more aggression because body armor reduces (but obviously does not eliminate) the chance of taking a lethal wound from enemy fire.
My understanding SOCOM has done various psychological studies involving SOF. I get the feeling they don’t like to advertise their work but their might be a researcher out there who knows if there is work along the lines you’re looking.
