That last thing. I have not been in a position to be told that myself, but I know many people who have. I have *never* heard of it actually happening. Not once, anywhere, have I heard of a VAP/Adjunct position actually for-reals transitioning into TT based on performance.

rare, and should NEVER be promised. the only cases I know of where VAPs transitioned to TT were never told this was a possibility up front.
