Super-concrete plans, no. I have a back-burnered idea of reading Tolkien for 'human terrain' - a sense of the settlements, agriculture and background population. I'm hoping to do a lot more agriculture, farming, production and economy on the blog - it is how most people really lived. It's hard because I usually look to have a pop-culture hook and - as I talk about with lonely cities - pop culture just straight up deletes these folks.

Much tougher sell, even for me if I'm being honest. Tolkien is the draw for me,but I also have a grad degree in foreign policy so when you talk about Clausewitz's friction, I recall fondly classes on grand strategy. In any case, these are clearly labors of love so thank you!
