Reading about these anti-lockdown protests, it seems to me the problem isn't that they are popular (the polling says they aren't) but that the opposition to astro-turf 'open up' protests doesn't generate good media b-roll because we're all sitting at home, obeying state orders.
But, FWIW, I want to note I am 1) anti-virus and thus 2) pro-lockdown until we have a handle on this. My career (or the desiccated remains thereof) isn't worth someone's grandparent's lives.
