Otherwise, frankly, what are we here for? Of course, that means sticking to your expertise and not going on TV demanding deference on matters about which you know nothing. But it also means a willingness to argue for the value of that expertise. 3/3
I’m not sure why more talking heads don’t simply draw the line with their expertise. Asked a question you don’t have the foggiest about? “That’s outside my expertise, but what I do know is...”
