Carthage gets an unfair rep for failure in a lot of the modern historiography and thus in a lot of modern classrooms. I might have more to say on that in the coming year ::sly wink::

I am profoundly disappointed that Carthage is trending but it has nothing to do with antiquity. For as little as we know, the Carthaginian state is *fascinating* and was well regarded by its contemporaries.
