Forgive me, but does that matter? An alliance of convenience doesn't have to be permanent. There's no reason not to use their networks to push your cause - you put yourself under no obligation to them. What matters is positive change, right?

Yeah, that's garbage. My impression is that it's an issue that, at the national level, the libertarian movement cares about - but of course, you'd know the local chapter a lot better than I would ('cause I'm not local) and they may have their own agenda.
