Ok. There is no definitive evidence for the use of rhinos in battle by any culture at any time. Because - on the list of things you don't expect to ever have to say - I have been asked about the existence of war-rhinos before. Here ends the post.

I can’t imagine why, they seem to possess the same negatives as elephants (expensive/slow to raise, likely to lose their shit in a battle and kill your troops) with the added dimension that males would probably start fighting each other if in close proximity
