At Ezra Church in 1864, the 350-man 26th IL fired 70,000 rounds in about 2 hours time. To achieve the same with an M240B machine gun would require a crew to fire at a cyclic rate without changing barrels for two full hours... and even then, they'd only barely match it. #funfact
