(First Contact: sweet movie, reprehensible perversion of the series' immensely superior handling of exactly the same moral and personal questions.)
I recall later they floated the idea that Nemesis was supposed to be TNG's 'Wrath of Khan' and I thought - no, you did that already. It was First Contact, and you took a potentially incredible premise and made a just-OK movie out of it.
