Pres @realDonaldTrump on immigration-"If I was doing this purely from an economic standpoint, I would tell you in 1 second what I'd be doing, okay? It's so simple. But I'm not b/c millions & millions of people are affected. I put myself in their position. So it's much different"

So he put himself in the position of illegals? How about the position of American citizens? How about the Angel families? I regret voting for Trump. #AmnestyDon

OK, so @POTUS has a heart re immigration but DACA can wait til AFTER WE HAVE: A wall/border security APPROPRIATION, LAWS ENDING chain migration/visa lottery/sanctuary cities/birthright citizenship & ENACTING voter ID & mandatory E-Verify. THEN 800K DACA, no path to citizenship.

I'd like to hear what he would do "from an economic standpoint"! I suspect he'd prefer to have a bigger pool of potential employees.

Sort of agree. We also need people willing to do the many, many jobs that Americans aren't willing to do. I'd prefer these were legal workers.

They are "illegal aliens." But the left insisted we all stop using that term. It sounded too harsh, too inhumane, but it was accurate. Then came "illegal immigrants" & then "undocumented workers" (although many do not work) & then "Dreamers" & finally "unregistered Democrats."

Right you are, MaryJane! Though I think the term PHI (Person Here Illegally) will absolutely stymie them! What possible excuse could they have for not using it, other than they are Open Borderists who don't care about illegal entry and stay?

He didn't end it. He didn't renew an unconstitutional temporary executive order that had been renewed 11 times. Instead he instructed Congress to DO THEIR JOB - these types of laws are their responsibility. A president does not make or delete any law.
