Don't pretend to care about black folks now, Bret. Not when the success of your network mostly depends on making old white folks scared of minorities.

The fact that ya'll attribute black unemployment directly to Trump is worrisome. It's not like he hired any of those people. President's get too much credit for employment numbers (Clinton, case in point) when it's much more complicated than waving a magical job wand.

A booming economy serves all willing workers and it does not serve any race or gender. Plenty of jobs for everyone. However, the more trained you are the more money you make.

        Lots of good econ statistics out there, but 2017 was the weakest year of job growth since 2010, per BLS https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth … 2010: 88.4K per month 2011: 174K 2012: 178K 2013: 192K 2014: 250K 2015: 226K 2016: 187K 2017: 171K pic.twitter.com/D08A458YgR

Hard to grow jobs when unemployment is at all time low. Of course Obama grew jobs at a high rate...... there were a lot of jobs to be had. You might want to look at wage growth

Good point. Few thoughts. 1.wages are rising. 2. job growth declining (some due to your point). 3. trade deficit ballooned (some due to dollar drop). This is prob w tax plan - higher gdp to balance budget, but higher gdp will be constrained by labor as u say.

Not if the plan to bring more jobs really works. I think it will but time will tell. The other telling sign will be to see if businesses expand existing payroll to facilitate job growth. Again I think it will

small bus needed to see more in terms of payroll taxes, more in labor training, equip dep may help spur equip purchase short term, its generally good, the trade off is growth vs cost for the growth - imo we won't see the return as a country, deficit will grow. we will see.
