The "rogue killers" possibility seems pretty remote -- from @TomRtweets :https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/saudis-claim-rogue-killers-got-jamal-khashoggi-they-might-as-well-say-a-dog-ate-him …

Khashoggi no ordinary dissident! He's a friend of Bin Laden & of the Muslim Brotherhood who opposes the reforms of the Saudi crown prince. Why is that not mentioned? Easiest path is to MBS But rival royals looking to burn #MBS is possible You make a good point permissions would need to come from high up But who would approve a plan this stupid? We'll whack him in our Embassy & take zero precautions to hide our travel etc. It's absurdly bad

Obviously much more to this that public may never see. I am of the opinion that MbS is a reformer and a strong ally of America and will be key to peace in Middle East. Khashoggi was associated with Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization.

Sincere question as I must be missing something. How is it a US isssue if a foreign national is killed in a foreign embassy on foreign soil? Solely because it’s Saudi and a journalist??

He was a permanent US Resident. His family lives here. They shop here. The kids go to school here. His neighbors and friends live here. It’s a slap in the face for Saudis to think they can just act with impunity when US is involved.

He was killed by Qatar and Turkey. Not SA. SA has spent the last 2 years totally reversing their funding for extremism throughout the Middle East. The new king is a reformer. He wants peace. The elite want war. So they want him gone. Think.

Sure, despite every piece of evidence that says otherwise, it’s definitely your armchair sleuthing that’s correct.

Dude, he went into the Saudi consulate and never came back out. If the Saudis didn’t do it then it wouldn’t be hard for them to explain what happened after he entered. We’re not talking a complicated case. Motive and opportunity point to SA and nothing has shown otherwise.

I'm about to challenge you to think outside the media narrative, so hang w me: If you were SA, and you were going to murder a vocal critic of yours, why would you do it in a consulate on foreign soil where surveillance shows your target never left?

In the days following, Turkey immediately called on SA to release the surveillance footage. This immediately implies Turkey knows that the footage doesn't exist. How could they know this if they hadn't already seen the footage themselves?

Have I missed the evidence on the Khashoggi incident being factually reported? or, are all the stations just going with 'guesses' at this point.

May be they are 'rogue killers' in the Saudi Consulate. It will be very difficult to exonerate the Saudis here. Khashoggi went into the Consulate and never came out. This is not rocket science.

The Suadis have to be made to pay for their terrorist activities sooner or later. When will our policy to protect them end? I think enough is enough with them. They're as bad as ISIS, Hamas, Taliban, or any other terror group. Worse maybe, because of our protections
