        It's not under the radar. It's an extremely open procedure, but you'd only be aware if you're watching CSPAN. The major networks rarely cover appointments unless it's for the SC or someone is outrageously underqualified.

        Agreed...but an open procedure that is rarely covered is considered under the radar to me. If it were constantly covered by the media every nominee would be treated like a Supreme Court nomination. The lack of any awareness and thus protests seems to prevalent.

        What about tax cuts, more jobs than workers & the economy is soaring? These are as tangible as judicial appointments. Mo money in Americans pockets seems very tangible to me.
