To be fair, this is only about a week less than normal election year sked. And there will be a lot of action in Sept., including likely CR/Covid relief fight. But House has been in session sporadically since the pandemic started. An extraordinary year for Congress & the country
/3 For perspective, the House has voted on 35 days since Feb. 1, with just 178 roll-call votes. At this point in second session of the 115th Congress (2018) the House had voted 379 votes. In 2016 (114th Congress, second session), House had held 479 votes by this time.
