Disappointed in today's ruling re. Jim Acosta. Acosta's not a journalist. He's an activist and deserves no place at the WH. Attending WH press briefings is a privilege, not a right. When Acosta demonstrates he's a real journalist, then the privilege can and should be restored.

Trump should call on Acosta, let him bloviate, then end the press conference. Every. Single. Time. See how the media react to that.

Yes, you seem to understand the true gravity of the situation which seems to be lost on ppl like @BreitbartNews whom should not be rejoicing. If moves out of the WH to the Eisenhower, the press will be off the grid. One thing it would cut down on is leaks.

So then it’s a good thing right? I think this judge actually helped @realDonaldTrump by having them require a code of conduct and if they don’t abide by it, they’re thrown out. But, Trump and Sanders can also start calling on other reporters as well

I do too but foolishly the media thinks that Jimmy getting his hardpass back was some kind of win. IMO, it was just a lesser degree of losing. He will either follow the rules or he’s gone. Additionally, he may never get another question for the next 6-14 years.

Well, @FoxNews didn’t get a question from @BarackObama for eight years. Curious why no media outlet complained about that one

Doesn't matter what the judge says. The president has the authority to ignore it. I wish people would stop acting like the president has no power. No judge can interfere with his presidency and any decisions he makes. Separations of powers prevents judges from rulings like this!

So, journalists can’t be activists? Aren’t you a “journalist” and an activist too?

The very meaning of being a “journalist” should be empowering and reporting simple data. That’s it. When the president speaks I don’t give a fuck about what Jim Acosta has to say...not will I ever. And the fact that he goes on and on is a problem

Yes, but his peers should deal with him. Once potus and the govt is involved, it becomes an issue. This isn’t hard.

True, but then again that’s giving both him and his “peers” way more credit than they’re worth

The White House is the People’s House ... paid for by the People. The President is a temporary resident while he holds office. PERIOD - The press represent the people in obtaining TRUTH from the Individual Occupying the People’s House which happens to be White!
