We'll need to be ready to explain preference voting, though, to the country that rejected AV in favour of FPTP...

The nation rejected AV 7 years ago for General Election voting, not referendums. How would a 3 or 4 choice vote work? Will a majority for any one choice dictate the course? What if the split's 34/33/33?
