Looks like it is a test of the new studio Some of Olympics (daytime UK I think) was always going to come from Salford in this new studio built for Sports, in one of the BBC buildings i.e. not Dock10

From what they've said it'll all be anchored from Salford for obvious reasons with just a small team out in Japan so suspect overnights will be from there too. Not a huge fan of the "roving reporter" style they've used on location at a few games recently.
