We really have to get more skilled at lighting darker skin better in film. It’s so beautiful when done right but seldom is done right. Push to get it taught in film schools It will make a difference going forward
I love Rita Moreno but this is the opposite of it. We have had a century of movie roles being reserved for the lightest skinned Latino, Black & Asian ppl.
