People think she’s nerdy, but so what? I don’t want a cool candidate; I want one who has solid plans to address injustices and inequities in this country. She is brilliant, practical and fearless.

I really think she is going to shine in the debates. Like Bree alluded to she has concrete and well though out of policy proposals and has shown a level of empathy and understanding that has yet to be matched by most of her rivals.
-
That empathy is a direct result of her life experiences. She is a true self made woman and has succeeded due to her intellect and skills. More than anyone running, I feel she truly understands the experience of average Americans.
-
But she’d remind you that no one is actually self-made in America. That sort of humbleness is terribly lacking in politics, but I’m grateful to see it from her. Go Liz!

The media has accelerated every white male candidate around the women and minorities in the race. How Buttigieg is being sold as a more viable candidate than Harris or Klobuchar is insane!
-
I definitely agree that sexism plays a large part in this but the media is also going to push centrist candidates a lot more than progressives. Beto and Buttigieg are just products of the media.

If Elizabeth Warren had seized the moment in 2016 and responded to the great many activists calling for her to run she would have won the primary and the general. Timing matters.http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/ready-for-elizabeth-warren-2016 …

Yes! People forget how close Iowa & Nevada were. If Warren, a better known Democratic woman with similar policies to Bernie, had gotten in early, she likely would have won 3 of the first 4 states. The whole race would have been different. We could've won 2016 with a progressive!
-
It seems strange to me people seem to forget there was a large contingent of “Draft Warren” Democrats in 2014 and before.
-
Yep. I was one myself. I admire her, she'd make a great president. I even donated $27 when she announced. I just can't forget that when she had a chance to step up & fight for these policies against the machine, she didn't. Bernie did, and that gives him more credibility with me.
-
I have donated to her this cycle. But after EW passed, Bernie seized the moment, built a network and I do not see a compelling reason to change captains, and neither do many others. I certainly would prefer EW to Biden, so I hope his supporters reconsider what they are doing.
-
I prefer her to Bernie. Warren makes Bernie obsolete.
-
I prefer Warren to Biden, Harris, Beto and Buttigieg.
-
I can only vote for one. It will be Warren.

If Elizabeth Warren were a man Biden wouldn’t have gotten in. He would have endorsed her a long time ago.
-
Disagree. I've been a big fan of Elizabeth Warren since the days when she was just a law professor writing about bankruptcy and the middle class economy. But as much as I love her, I don't think she's a viable candidate in this race and I wish she hadn't stepped into it.

It's important to know the history, length, breadth, depth of a candidate's policy positions. Warren's been saying the same thing for decades. She created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau bc of unjust policies, esp impacting women and families.https://twitter.com/DeQuincy_/status/1122132521720827906 …

YES for decades!
