Traditional school is not made for young boys. He's likely not "acting up." He's being a boy. :)

And if his teacher makes any intimation regarding medicating, get him out of that classroom. Our six year old's kindergarten teacher attempted that shit last year, and got the riot act from us, and the head of children's neurology at RI Hospital.

Agreed. My 11yo nephew didn't act up (not permitted at his private school...heh), but he was bored out of his skull till this year. Sixth grade they're making them buckle down, and while he still makes As, he's not bored and is liking it a lot more.
