The first action of this fruitful cooperation was taking a Brazilian delegation to attend the Haifa 34th International Film Festival - held from September 22nd to October 1st.
The Brazilian delegation was composed of representatives of projects with potential for co-production with Israel. Thus, drama, horror and documentary filmmakers were able to meet Israel's biggest film festival and exchange experiences with several Israeli representatives.
Three Brazilian movies were displayed during Haifa’s Festival: 2 co-productions - Brazil and Colombia’s Los Silencios and Argentina, France, Netherlands, Brazil and Germany’s Rojo - and one 100% Brazilian movie - Tito and The Birds.
