Respect. A complete repudiation by @LondonBreed of what has happened w/re to the killing of Hanako Abe & Elizabeth Platt & “restorative justice” generally. Not naming @chesaboudin, but calls for need to take responsibility. Keeps door open to justice reform.https://twitter.com/lihanlihan/status/1347392915157356545 …

Karsten, the thing is this has been going on for MONTHS- basically since the day after Chesa took office. It took two women to get killed for her to finally say repeat offenders should be punished?! Really?! In the meantime we're all victims of crime. Failing at her primary job.

Oh, we’re not done yet.
@chesaboudin still needs to go. 9 of 11 supes need to go. The entire school board does. All progressives who think ideology > reality do. But here is what just happened: Mr Boudin’s most important ally broke with him and shamed him. A beginning. 1/2 replies 0 retweets 4 likes -
I'd say 11/11 of sups need to go, but I'll settle for 9/11 for now. Do you really think she was his most important ally when she supported a different candidate during his election?

She wasn’t in the run-up to the election. Fair. She did tolerate him after though. Losing her, if tacit, support is an important milestone.

Karsten, I hear you, but by praising the slightest glimpse of rational behavior or common sense, and not calling out unacceptable inaction and what really should have been done months earlier, we are complicit and reinforcing the unacceptable behavior in the first place.
