What's wrong with it? He knows the law and he is right to ask why he is being detained. This is a lesson for anyone that gets stopped especially people of color. I don't have to give them my name and I don't have to give them my phone. Get a search warrant.

I'm sorry Neil, I'm trying to be respectful but I can't. "What's wrong with it?" What's wrong with you? Police nicely ask for video footage of incident- he refuses to give it? Shows off his legal background? He has an overt disdain for cops and he's the DA! That's what wrong! Omg

You just hate that people are mean to the police, who need you to defend them.

1) I don't hate anyone. 2) I believe people in general should be helpful when you can- it's leads to a better society. Isn't that was SF is about? 3) I especially believe in helping police because of their job - all they wanted was video footage. Can't just send it them, really?

I checked out your feed, and you're obsessed with this guy - you just helpfully retweeted a post calling him a communist sociopath. No hate, though, right? Your bio makes fun of a movement protesting police killings of minorities. You seem nice.

1) I'm obsessed with the safety of SF residents - our elected officials don't seem to be. 2) Did you see my post about how I truly feel bad for Chesa? 3) His personal issues are clouding his judgment and ability to be SF's DA. 4) The crime statistics speak for themselves.

Safety for you seems to mean Locking Up All the Bad People: people should be thrown in jail as violent criminals for stealing change out of someone's glovebox. You have a carceral mindset, you attack dissenters as communist sociopaths, then you claim you don't hate anyone.

I make my positions very clear and stand by them. 1) People who commit a crime need to be arrested- EVERY TIME. That's a civilized society. 2) There need to be meaningful consequences for repeat offenders to make them really think twice about committing another crime.
