My brother is working as a produce stock person at a suburban grocery store and he’s generally just annoyed and angry. The employees are all doing what they can to help. It does them a disservice to be unkind to them- they feel at risk doing their jobs but are there doing them

Grocery stores should set up the salvation army kettles out front as tip jars. Empty it out at the end of each day and split it up equally amongst anybody who worked a shift.

And drive thrus. We’ve had plenty of nice appreciative people but I have never in seven years dealt with so many rude people. We have been totally slammed for lunch the last week, I’m exhausted, and they cut hours/staff because the rest of the day it’s dead. Please be patient.
